Elderflower syrup
We produce 100% natural syrup – SAMBUCUS – from locally harvested wild and cultivated elderflower bushes.
All our “lost or forgotten treasures of nature”, the golden white elderflowers, are gathered in the Kolpa valley and on its slopes, surrounded by the nearby forests, in an environment which, fortunately for us, has escaped the influences of our modern way of life.
We are located in one of the cleanest areas of Slovenia. The unspoilt nature and the many wild elderflower bushes that grow at the edge of the vast forests and burst into bloom in June and July with their divine, beautiful little flowers give us a good basis for making a superb syrup. This is how we can make the best natural elderflower organic product – SAMBUCUS.
HAND-PICKED and MADE IN THE TRADITIONAL WAY
The beautiful white petals are hand-picked. With great care and attention, we select only the
finest tiny white flowers, which contain the maximum amount of nectar and pollen, the ingredients that give our syrup its exquisite aroma. So right from the start, in the selection of the raw material itself, we make sure that every drop of SAMBUCUS syrup is of the highest quality.
SAMBUCUS tastes like home, it is handmade, in the traditional way. It just couldn’t be more natural. Our delicately fragrant and aromatic syrup is made by soaking elderflowers in lemon juice for a few days to extract their delicate aroma. The recipe for our syrup was created out of love and a very good sense of taste. Our focus is solely on quality.

The plants that give us these beautiful, aromatic flowers are, of course, treated with love and care. Wild elderflower bushes have all the space they need to grow naturally. We only pick what we need without damaging the bush. We make sure that our pristine nature will be there for generations to come.

Our wonderful elderflower syrup gives a deliciously refreshing taste if you just mix it with plain or sparkling water. To make the perfect drink, simply add our SAMBUCUS to chilled water and ice. It’s the natural taste of summer! And with our SAMBUCUS you can also evoke summer in autumn and cold winter, reliving memories of beautiful warm sunny days.

Lisac Organic SAMBUCUS is a versatile additive for drinks, cakes and desserts. The syrup is suitable for making a nice glass of lemonade, for use in a cocktail or mocktail. Try our elderflower syrup in sparkling wine cocktails, and it also goes well with the juniper flavour of gin.
AS AN ADDITIVE…
It can be drizzled over fruit, ice cream and other desserts. It is the perfect flavouring to brighten up the taste and juiciness of your dessert. You can also use it as a great sweetener for tea.
